Spectacles Project
You probably know that millions of people in the world are visually impaired and cannot see properly? They cannot make out the colour of a flower, read a book or watch a football/cricket match. Just a fiver will buy a modest pair of spectacles in India but many don't have this much money to spare. So, we are planning to collect 1000 used old spectacles and send them to India. If you or any one in your family uses spectacles, probably you have many pairs which will ultimately land up on a refuse tip. Please donate them to us.
The Spectacles Project is the first project of Tridev and we would much appreciate if every one, children as well as parents, contributed to it. We plan to collect 1000 spectacles and send them to India for recycling and re-use. To discuss this project, a meeting was held on Saturday, 15 December, 11.30 am at the Tridev Temple and a further appeal was made to enrol volunteers. The following people have since started volunteering and they are being supported by their parents in this noble cause:
1. Ishaan
2. Rimjhim
3. Balram
4. Sarthak
5. Sidhant
6. Sneha
7. Ujjawal
8. Priyanka
